Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions that govern returns and refunds of our products purchased directly from Tangentwood; provided that this Return and Refund Policy does not apply to products purchased by businesses or other commercial customers nor does it apply to products purchased by customers outside the United States. If there is a conflict between this Return and Refund Policy and our Terms of Service, this Return and Refund Policy will govern unless expressly stated in the Terms of Service.

Prior to initiating a return for Business/Commercial Use products, please fill out our Contact Form (https://tangentwood.com/pages/contact_us). Tangentwood is not responsible for any such items returned without prior authorization.

If you are an international customer, please contact the local dealer or retailer where you purchased your Tangentwood product for its return policy details.

If you did not purchase our products directly through Tangentwood and you need a Refunds, please reach out to the distributor or dealer from which you purchased your item.

At Tangentwood, we understand that the purchase of outdoor furnishings represents an investment of both time and resources and so we strive to ensure a worry-free shopping experience for all customers. Should a product you purchase from Tangentwood.com not match your expectations or needs, our highly trained Customer Care team will be happy to assist you.

Return Policy
Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for refund for free within the contiguous U.S.

A Tangentwood Customer Care team member will promptly review your order and, if the item is returnable, assist you in beginning your return.

Damaged/Defective Items
We understand how frustrating a damaged or defective item can be. If your item was damaged when you received it or is found to be defective, the Tangentwood Customer Care team is happy to use every reasonable effort to work with you and find a solution. To do so, you must first contact Tangentwood within 30 days of the delivery date to be eligible to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”). No products may be returned and no refund may be issued without an RMA.

To provide an RMA, we will require photos and may require the original item to be returned. If the required photos are not received by or, if required, the original item is not returned to, our Returns and Claims team within 30 days of the delivery date, Tangentwood reserves the right to deny a refund or replacement, and in any event may deny your request for an RMA in its sole discretion.

Tangentwood is not responsible for items returned to Tangentwood without an RMA nor is Tangentwood responsible for any items returned to its distributors and/or dealers with the expectation of receiving a refund and under the auspices of warranty coverage, freight damage or other product shortcomings. No refund will be issued by a distributor or dealer without prior review and authorization from Tangentwood.

Refunds
Once your authorized return is received, the returned items will be evaluated before the refund is processed. If the refund approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be issued to your original form of payment within 3-7 business days.
